Terry Biers is a retired Certified
Christian Educator with a certificate
in Youth and Theology who served
the PCUSA for over thirty years as a
Church Educator and eight years as
a Resource Consultant.  She also
taught junior high English and
college courses in educational
psychology and developmental
English.  She is a curriculum writer
for the Presbyterian Church USA,
including
We Believe materials.
Melissa Gilreath Cobb
Melissa Gilreath Cobb is an
experienced performer, church
soloist and lifelong Presbyterian.  
She teaches voice, piano and
theatre and directs children's
theatre in the Chicago area.  She
graduated from Oberlin
Conservatory, Oberlin, OH and New
England Conservatory, Boston.
Mike Fonfara, D.Min.
Mike Fonfara, D. Min., Covenant
Gathering (Synod School) veteran
teacher, serves the Church as a
retired pastor, spiritual formation
educator, pulpit supply, spiritual
director and once-in-a-while
comedian.
Lynn Fonfara
Lynn Fonfara, currently the pastor
of Hope Lutheran Church in
Plainwell, Michigan, has extensive
experience in lay leader
development and training,
including serving as Leadership
Development Specialist for
Women of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America.  She
and Mike Fonfara have five adult
children, ten grandchildren, a dog
and a cat.
Joan Colleran Hoxey
Joan Colleran Hoxey holds a
masters degree community
counseling and a doctorate of
ministry degree.  Joan and her
husband, Michael, have given
hundreds of workshops and
retreats.  They currently facilitate
Appreciative Inquiry workshops for
churches, business and for
couples.  Joan is a co-owner of AI
Consultants, and she and Michael
own Relationship Resources, LLC.
Carla Mavis
Carla Mavis is a long time
Covenant Gathering attendee and
has been teaching adults in her
home church off and on for the last
10 years.  She has two grown
children and lives in Jackson, Ohio.
Michele Smith Slone
Michele Smith Slone  has taught
music education for 12 years, and
has spent the past nine years in
her current position as general
and vocal music educator for
grades 3-6 in Urbana, Ohio.  
Michele has served as energizer,
music leader, director, keynoter,
counselor and music director over
the past 12 years for camps,
conferences, rallies, outdoor
education and retreats throughout
Ohio, as well as Arkansas, South
Carolina and Indiana.  Michele is
a member of the Presbyterian
Church in Urbana.
Jane Stoffer
Jane Stoffer, a stained glass and
polymer clay artist and professional
workshop presenter, is also a
retired counselor for chemically
dependent women and domestic
violence issues.  She has a
master's degree in Community
Counseling for Kent State
University and is an activist for
peace and justice.  She has three
grown children, four grand children
and lives in Salem, Ohio.
Seth Weeldreyer
Seth Weeldreyer studied history,
German and secondary education
at Hope College, Holland, MI.  He
completed seminary at Union
Theological Seminary in
Richmond, VA (now Union-PSCE),
and an advanced degree in
preaching from McCormick
Theological Seminary.  He has
served congregations in Dunbar,
Scotland, and currently in Marshall,
Michigan.  The roots of Seth's
interest in inter-faith dialogue
extend from a Lebanese teacher in
the fourth-grade, through seminary
study and travel, and more recent
presbytery initiatives and General
Assembly conferences - and of
course, many meaningful
relationships along the way.
